Wayne & Carlyle, Atlantis ~ 2nd Feb 2013

I had the pleasure of shooting this wonderful couples wedding in Atlantis on a beautiful sunny day in February this year.

Carlyle is cousin to my wife, so it was lovely getting to meet some of my extended family. Two days before the wedding, I shot this lovely couples engagement shoot on Table View beach, where we had quite a lot of fun.  The wedding ceremony turned out to be very moving, with a few tears from the bride just before walking down the aisle, and lots of smiles and laughter once they had tied the knot. :)

This couple also shared a few great moments at their reception, which ended up being quite a fun filled occasion’, mingling with all the family.

Wayne & Carlyle, thanks for choosing me to photograph your memorable day. I wish you all the best with your marriage, and stay as blessed as you are.

Sunset on Beach Boulevard, Table View ~ 31 Jan 2013

Two days before walking down the aisle, I shot this couples engagement shoot at a very blustery Beach Boulevard, Table View.

Wayne & Carlyle were really great, considering the strong wind and sand we had to deal with in fading and cold weather conditions. This was the first time that we had met, so they were a little bit tentative in front of the camera at first. But, this fun loving couple soon got into their stride. And before you knew it, they were drawing hearts in the sand and pretty much had all near forgotten about me, and were really just enjoying the moment on this beautiful sun kissed Cape Town beach.

The wind sure was a handful, and kept playing around with the lighting so I was a little nervous about how the photos would come out with the light quickly fading.
In the end, everything turned out well, and we managed to get in a couple of good shots.

Wayne & Carlyle, thanks for making it a great shoot, I had lots of fun with you guys and can’t wait to get to the wedding pics (coming soon)! Hope you enjoy the photos!
