We were invited to attend the 60th ‘Cowboys & Indians’ themed birthday party of Sheriff Eddy Cornelius, and oh what fun we had.

Sheriff Eddy rounded up his possy of crazy family members who went all out with their rootin tootin costumes, and had themselves a ball of a time! It was so much fun meeting up with all the family, especially to see all of the kids that have grown so much since the last time I saw them. What’s interesting to note is that either the kids have grown really tall real quick, or I seem to have shrunk…hmmm…I must be getting younger, hehe…

Even though it was pretty cold and rainy that day, it was great to see that so much family turned up despite the weather. In fact, Sheriff Eddy, who is one tough’ol cowboy had just come out of hospital, so it was really awesome to see this party turn out the way it did.

So without further ado, here are some of the awesome people who I managed to get some photo’s of…enjoy…

I came across this really interesting article on Hasselblad’s website, “NASA Astronaut’s Photography Manual”.

Apollo Mission Hasseblad Space Camera on Moon - Photo from http://www.panoramas.dk/moon/mission-apollo.html

Hasselblad camera’s have been used on every manned space flight since 1962, and from the looks of things will continue to be used in future to capture all of those awe-inspiring images taken from space. Used as a guidebook for the NASA Photography Training Program, it describes how to operate the Hasselblad 500 EL/M camera, as well as gives some great instructions on space photography for any budding astronaut’s/photographers out there :) .

So for those of you who are interested, have a look-see at this link to check out the article.

Maybe some day when I grow up I’ll be able to afford a Hasselblad = AwEsOmE & ExPeNsIvE at the same time :)
