Elton Willenburgh Photography

I’m a freelance photographer based in Cape Town, who’s love for photography started out as a hobby and eventually became my passion.

With no formal photographic training, my journey started out with my first camera phone, which led to the purchase of ‘my first’ digital camera ( bought as a xmas gift for my girlfriend at the time), then onto advanced digital and finally digital single lens reflex.

Despite accidently stumbling into the IT industry where I’ve endearingly worked for the past 10 years, I’ve always been doodling with graphic design, art & music and found that I enjoy it most when expressing myself creatively through photography.

I’m also happily married to the love of my life, my beautiful gorgeous wife Crystal, and we’ve been blessed with a handsome little boy named Micah. I love God, love people, and am hopelessly addicted to Formula 1, and someday when I grow up I’d like to be a lollypop guy in an F1 garage (looks easy enough right… sigh… I know, chief engineer and all that… can’t blame a guy for dreaming right .
